We woke up early to drive to Cheaha Mtn., Alabama’s highest point. There were a few scenic views from the road as well as a lodge and camping areas at the summit.
There was a bit of digging going on next to the observation tower, but other than that, it was a quiet and beautiful morning.

The drive to Memphis was interesting. We saw more green fields, along with swarms of birds.
